What is Energy 101?
Energy 101 is a new kind of experience. We call it a “course app”. With hundreds of pages of text, interactive games, animations, infographics, and over 10 hours of video content, it’s a one-of-kind learning tool that serves as a primer for energy concepts.

Is Energy 101 available for Smart Phones?
No. At this time Energy 101 is only available for tablets (iOS and Android) and as a web app (for desktops and laptops). However, we are working on this feature for the near future.

If I purchase an app copy of Energy 101 for my tablet, can I also use the desktop version?
No. At this time if you purchase Energy 101 for your tablet it is only available on that device. However, we are working on this feature for the near future.

If I purchase a copy of Energy 101 for my desktop, can I also use the app version?
No. At this time if you purchase Energy 101 for your desktop it is only available on the Internet. However, you may log into your account at www.energy101.com from any Internet enabled device.

The website says “web membership.” Is there an annual renewal fee?
If you are purchasing Energy 101 for a university course or individual use, there is no annual membership. Purchasing on the Energy101.com website grants you full access for a desktop, laptop, or any browser enabled device (such as reading Safari on an iOS table or phone).

I accidentally downloaded Energy 101 for the wrong device.

I purchased Energy 101 (for my iOS or Android tablet) and my app is not downloading.
1. Please ensure you have access to the Internet (we recommend WiFi due to the large data download size)

2. Close and relaunch the application.

3. If the app is still not downloading, delete the app according to your device’s instructions.

4. Return to your device’s app store and start the download again. You will not be charged to download again.

Energy 101 has been optimized to run on tablet devices running iOS 8.1 or higher and Android 4.4 and up. Please ensure your tablet is running the latest software for maximum compatibility.

How often will Energy 101 be updated?
The energy sector is a rapidly-evolving sector. To keep the Energy 101 app up-to-date, new data from each year will be added to charts and figures where appropriate/available. These updates will either load automatically or come as a push notification and will be available at no additional charge. For desktop users the content will automatically update.

Will new chapters or content be added to Energy 101 in the future?
Yes. The author plans to add new content that is relevant to energy on a periodic basis. These updates will either load automatically or come as a push notification and will be available at no additional charge. For desktop users the content will automatically update.

I found a mistake or typo. How do I alert you?
